A dedicated member of RCM&D’s professional team for 16 years, Linda has advanced her role from healthcare risk management and claims consultant into her current position of managing director of healthcare and COO of RCM&D’s Self-Insured Services Company, Inc. (SISCO), a subsidiary. In this role, Linda draws on over 28 years of insurance industry experience to manage the brokerage and consulting staff and services for RCM&D’s Healthcare Practice, and provide strategic oversight for SISCO.
As managing director of RCM&D’s Healthcare Practice, Linda provides consultative services to healthcare clients on claims, alternative risk financing, underwriting and risk management techniques. Her activities in this position include: forming claims structure, claim investigations, and case reserve analysis, providing educational programs, performing due diligence for acquisitions, and completing risk assessments. She has also developed a professional liability claims initiative and consultative claims services for RCM&D.
Most recently, Linda served as director of SISCO, a subsidiary corporation providing specialized claim administration and risk control services to the Healthcare industry. Within SISCO, her responsibilities included budgeting, managing liability claims, developing and implementing educational programs for clients and staff, and providing counsel and advice to clients on claims handling and risk reduction techniques. Additionally, Linda handled professional liability claims for self-insured facilities and commercial insurers and developed MMSEA services for SISCO. As COO, Linda continues her oversight of SISCO, ensuring exemplary claim management, resource deployment and advisory services.
Throughout her tenure at RCM&D, Linda has been a sought-after speaker, contributing to world-class industry conferences on current insurance topics and industry trends. She has been a frequent guest lecturer at numerous colleges and universities on subjects such as cyber liability exposures and workers’ compensation state-of-the market. Additionally, leading industry journals have published her timely and informative articles.
Prior to joining RCM&D, Linda held several executive positions, including risk management supervisor, claims consultant, and risk management consultant within national and regional firms. She also held a teaching appointment at Johns Hopkins University in the School of Hygiene and Public Health, in the department of Health Policy and Management.
